The computer animated film 'Shark Tale' grossed more than $80 million in it's first week on home video, surpassing it's $56 million opening weekend at the box office.

'Shark Tale', released by DreamWorks, sold more than 6 million DVD and VHS tapes across the U.S and Canada, with 5.5 million DVDs alone.

'Shark Tale,' with an ensemble voice cast including Will Smith, Robert De Niro, Renee Zellweger, Angelina Jolie, Jack Black and Martin Scorsese, has become the best-selling home video of the year and the top-grossing Week 1 DVD of all time for a February release window.
