Producer Twisted Pictures and distributor Lions Gate Films said Monday they planned to begin shooting in February for an October release. "Saw" director James Wan and screenwriter Leigh Whannell will be involved only as producers. The movie follows a psychopath who kidnaps victims and forces them to play horrific games so that they can learn the value of life. Whannell starred along with Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Monica Potter and Dina Meyer. Budgeted at less than $10 million, it grossed $18.3 million in its first three days.
